While handloom is beyond the dictate of trends & is timeless, it does keep evolving & responding to lifestyle patterns & thus remains relevant for contemporary interpretation. Crafts have been always a great source of inspiration for designers, brands and industry. It brings the diversity of ideas, materials, media, stories & context that influences consumer taste and preferences. Trendloom aims to be a well-researched & crisply encapsulated input into that vast inspiration.
Aadyam Handwoven launched its first edition of the Trendloom at India Craft Week (in association with the British Council, New Delhi). It aspires to see the beginning of a reverse trend, one that originates and evolves from the villages and goes to cities to create creative abundance and originality in thinking for future products and experiences.
